China Glaze Night and Slay - Paint it Black collection

Hi!

I'm wearing another China Glaze polish today. This is Night and Slay from the Paint it Black collection, releseased for Halloween this year.

China Glaze Night and Slay - Paint it Black collection

This is a clear base packed with matte black and holographic glitter. I will be honest with you: if you don't like thick nail polish or textured glitters that require 2+ coats of top coat, this is not for you. It is also quite difficult to remove so I absolutely recommend using a peel off base coat with this one. But for me the final result is so amazing I don't care at all. The holographic glitter makes this very sparkly and the matte black gives it a very edgy look. Think of unicorns and rock and roll in a bottle of nail polish.

Two regular coats will give you 90% coverage. If I were you I would not add a 3rd coat unless you want an instant ticket to polish mountain. Also all the holo sparkle is very distracting and hides any bits of visible nail.

I'm in love with this polish and I love that China Glaze always gives us such original finishes for a mainstream brand. I only picked up this one from this collection but I will probably get a couple more.

China Glaze Who Wonder? - The Grinch collection

Have you seen the collection China glaze released for the holidays? It consists of 8 polishes in different finishes inspired by the new The Grinch movie. And the bottle caps are the cutest! I only picked up one polish from this collection (for now!), a bright glass fleck pink called "Who wonder".

Two coats are enough for fully opacity. It has a jelly base but it is highly pigmented and it applies very evenly.

As you can see in the close up, there are mosttly bright pink particles as well as a bit of gold that makes this polish very festive. It is the perfect shade for the Holiday season if you want something different from the classic red, gold and green.

Mi picks from the Essie fall 2018 collection

Hello!

Today I have swatches of the two shades I picked up from the Essie Fall 2018 collection. I haven´t been particularly excited about Essie releases lately, but this collection is quite interesting and features some very unique polishes.

A bright metallic orange. This is one of those polishes that glows from within. If you are in a hurry you could get away with one coat but two deepens the colour and adds more dimension to this shade.

This is described by Essie as a mustard yellow but it looks orange to me. I would describe it as a muted tangerine orange, perfect for fall. It covers really well on the first coat but two are needed for a streak-free finish. Such an original shade and so unique in my collection!

What do you think of these? Did you get any Essie polishes lately?

OPI Ayahuasca made me do it

Hello!

Today I have swatches of one of the limited edition shades being released with the OPI Peru collection for fall 2018. Here in Poland there are 6 of these shades, while in the US 3 of them are sold as exclusives at Ulta, and the other 3 I asume will be at Sally Beauty.

The one I chose is called "Ayahuasca made me do it" and it is a very dusty green.

My picks from the OPI Peru collection

Hello!

Fall nail polish collections are always my favourite so I am very excited about this post! Today I have swatches of three polishes I picked up from the OPI Peru fall collection. The full set consists of 12 cremes, mainly in dusty pink, purple and red shades. I loved them all but I decided to buy the three that seemed the most original and I am not dissapointed at all. Let's take a look at them!
